Hilltop Estates Subdivision is located south of Moosheart Road on Hilltop Drive directly between Timber Oaks and Moose Lake Estates. The name of this subdivision has largely fallen out of use today, but for historical accuracy, I’m going to describe it here. This small community was built mostly in the 1950’s and includes many ranch homes with a couple split levels and two-story homes. It’s fairly easy to distinguish the homes in Hilltop Estates from the much newer Timber Oaks (built in the 1990’s) and much larger Moose Lake Estates. Homes in Hilltop Estates provide excellent values to buyers and are popular particularly with first-time buyers and the mobility-impared looking for single-story living. There are many long-time residents of Hilltop Estates and the community is prized for its mature landscaping and out-of-the-way location.
