Cameo Park Subdivision – Cameo Park Homes
The small Cameo Park Subdivision is located on Randall Road just south of Indian Trail directly across from Kensington Lakes Subdivision. Many visitors don’t know the actual name of this subdivision. The entrance of the subdivision is decorated by a brick wall with a small cameo, but the actual name of the subdivision isn’t displayed. Cameo Park has many beautiful homes built anywhere from the 1960’s to one just completed in 2006. The majority of these homes were built in the 1970’s and 1980’s. The Cameo Park subdivision is one of the few in West Aurora that includes side-by-side duplexes. The mature landscaping and many different home styles apparent in Cameo Park are often highly desired by its residents.
The Cameo Park subdivision is bordered on the north by McCarty’s Mill and Arrow Wood subdivisions and on the south by the Ivy Glen Townhome Complex. It’s location – on the north-west side of Aurora – makes it convenient to several local transportation arteries including the I-88 tollway, Orchard Road and Randall Road. Commuters who plan on taking the Metra into the city will find Cameo Park an easy 8-minute drive from the Aurora Trasportation Center. Area shopping includes the Home Depot and Woodmans on Orchard Road as well as a variety of shopping along the Randall Road corridor just to the north.
