Blackberry Trail Subdivision – Blackberry Trail Homes
The beautiful Blackberry Trail subdivision is located off of Galena Boulevard just west of Orchard Road. It is situated right across from the Orchard Valley Subdivision and Golf Course and is next to and connected with Cherry Hill – an older subdivision of stately homes just to the east of Blackberry Trail. The homes in Blackberry Trail subdivision were built between 1999 and 2001 and many include square footage between 1540 and 2600. Home styles are mosly contemporary and many homes feature brick or stone on the exterior.
Blackberry Trail home models include the Pemberton, Stratford, Catalina, Camden, Avalon and Fairmont with several different elevations. The popular Catalina model is a beautiful ranch-style home with catedral celinings. The community of Blackberry Trail includes one large park that it shares with neighboring Cherry Hill subdivision. Cherry Hill Park is located on Hankes Road just south of Galena. Blackberry Trail is also very close to the Virgil Gilman Trail – a 13-mile hiking/biking trail that streches from Montgomery all the way to Sugar Grove. The entrance of the subdivision is marked with a pond and elaborate entry sign with waterfall.
Blackberry Trail is located on the western edge of the City of Aurora and is surrounded by woods and grasslands. There is nearby shopping along Orchard Road as well as east on Galena Boulevard. It offers residents easy access to the I-88 tollway, Route 30 to the south and Randall Road.
