Downtown Aurora Real Estate

Downtown Aurora includes the large Stolp Island as well as sections along both the east and west banks of the Fox River. This area is home to some of Aurora’s best known landmarks including the Paramount Theatre, Hollywood Casino, Aurora Sci-Tech Museum among others. Downtown Aurora consists primarily of commercial real estate including both retail and industrial areas. However, recently there have been several residential projects that have been approved in Downtown Aurora including the River Street Plaza. Downtown Aurora also boasts a campus of Waubonsie Community College and several new buildings are currently being constructed on the west bank of the Fox River. A hotel and convention center are also being planned for the downtown area as well as several new restaurants and bars.
