Abington Woods Subdivision
Abington Woods is located on New York Street just west of Eola Road right next to neighboring Park Avenue. Built in 2001-2002, The Abington Woods subdivision is often difficult to distinguish from Park Avenue – the two share streets and the styles are very similar. The townhomes of Abington Woods are located to the far west side of the two communities and feature many of the popular styles and modern amenities that today’s buyers appreciate. The Abington Woods subdivision includes nearly 20 buildings with between 2 and 4 townhomes per building for nearly 80 total homes. The layout of this subdivision is slightly different than Park Avenue – the buildings are often placed vertically, front to back instead of horizontally side-by-side like Park Avenue. This creates a common “alley” betwen units on one side and a common “green area” on the other. The complex also includes a small pond.
Townhome models include the Everton with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and the slightly smaller Dunham model with 2 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Like Park Avenue, these townhomes also include partial brick fronts and some include full basements. Like the its neighbor, it also feeds into district 204 schools including Grainger Middle School and Waubonsie Valley High School. Located close to local transportation including Route 34 (Ogden) and just minutes from the Reagan Tollway (I-88) and Naperville Metra station. Abington Woods is perfect for buyers looking for a modern townhomes that’s located between the cities of Aurora and Naperville.
