Chesterfield Lakes is the name given to a group of townhomes that are located off of Stewart Ave just west of Mitchell Road on the east side of North Aurora. Over time, the community these townhomes belong to has been shortened to “Chesterfield” – the name of the nearby Chesterfield Subdivision – however, the original name of the Community was Chesterfield Lakes. In an attempt to be historical, on this site, I will refer to this group of townhomes by its original name of Chesterfield Lakes. Built almost entirely in 2001, Chesterfield Lakes townhomes range in size from around 1300 to over 1700 square feet. The location of this community is ideal for commuters – near I-88 and Kirk Road – and the community is close to hike-bike trails that lead in and around the nearby Chesterfield Subdivision. Townhome models in Chesterfield Lakes include the Braxton, Ashton and Carlton.
